I’m wearing my blue wool cap again. I’ve had what feels like a sinus headache again all day long. Heaven help me.
Stephen and I drove out to the superstore malls up on Mavis Road. Like a couple of losers we went to Winners to see what bargains we could pick up.I bought a bunch of shirts and tops that I don’t really need, but then again I never feel like I need to buy any new clothing…ever. But once I am at a clothing store I usually leave my common sense at the door. Stephen bought three plain white T-shirts; where as, all I could seem to focus on were tops, when in fact what I really need are pants.
After Winners we wound up at Pet’s Are Us, scouting for big bone bargains for Willi. What are those things made out of anyway, wax? After the bone hunt we were hungrier than a Swiss Chalet chicken in heat and settled on Applebee’s which is fine if you like hot, cheesy, lard-type platters. I kept thinking I was in New Jersey...in a good way. Now my stomach hurts in a bad way.
I am spending the weekend studying Perl. If you haven’t the faintest idea what Perl is I want you to count your blessings and call it a day. If you do know what it is then you are officially a geek and there is nothing further I need to say to you.
Well, given the size and shape of my current headache, I think I have done remarkably well. You too.
And so the day begins…or rather meanders merrily along to its most likely conclusion. Day light savings time ends tonight so don't forget to set your clocks back one hour.

I like the toque Mark. I think Stephen should make his migration to Canada complete by wearing one as well.
I couldn't agree with you more Eric!
Toque, eh?
